What is acne?
Acne affects almost all males and females during puberty.
Sometimes pores get blocked and oil which normally drains to the surface gets accumulated within pores. The clogged pore gradually enlarges, producing a bump. As the pore enlarges, the wall may rupture, allowing skin bacteria access into the deeper layers of the skin, ultimately producing inflammation.
